Al's set a date with one of the guard.
"His life, I know, is hard as hard,"
 Says Al.

At Buck House, a change of guard is due -
Chris went down, and Al went too.
Saw a tall straight guard in a tall straight box.
"The chap with the stripes on his sleeve does their socks,"
 Says Al.

At Buck House, a change of guard is due -
Chris went down, and Al went too.
We looked for the King but d'you think he came?
"Well, God take care of him, all the same,"
 Says Al.

At Buck House, a change of guard is due -
Chris went down, and Al went too.

At Buck House, a change of guard is due -
Chris went down, and Al went too.

"He's hard at work - has to sign all those things,"
 Says Al.

At Buck House, a change of guard is due -
Chris went down, and Al went too.
"Do you think the King knows all 'bout me?"
"Sure to, dear, but it's time for tea,"
 Says Al.
